Originally inspired by the chamomile flowers growing outside the studio, this design has been a firm favourite with my customers over the years. Resembling both the healing herb and life-giving sun, the Ancient Goddess reminds us to reconnect with both nature and our inner self.
I wanted this pendant to feel like an ancient treasure, a solid and comforting piece to wear. To that end, the silver has been forged by hammer and anvil the traditional way. You can trace your fingers over the raw marks that remain, feel the texture of each groove - every Ancient Goddess is unique. To capture the vibrant yellow, she proudly displays a disc of solid 18 carat gold. This is a piece with a story to tell.
Hallmarked at the Edinburgh Assay Office for sterling silver and 18 carat gold.
